Legendary NASCAR driver Richard Petty hasn’t lost a step. At 81 years old, Petty, nicknamed The King, is most remembered for his record seven NASCAR Cup Series championships — a mark tied by only Dale Earnhardt and Jimmie Johnson.
But apparently he’s pretty good at pool too.
Petty was in San Francisco on Friday at a promotional event for Spectrum TV, according to Richard Petty Motorsports’ Twitter account, and he spent some time with pool star Jeanette Lee, nicknamed Black Widow. And he showed off this crazy trick shot, knocking a coin into a glass with a cue ball.
Richard Petty Motorsports driver Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr., driver of the No. 43 Chevrolet, shared another angle of this wild shot.
The 2019 NASCAR season kicks off in February with the Daytona 500. At last year’s marquee event, Wallace finished second to winner Austin Dillon, and it was the best finish by a rookie and by an African-American driver in the event.
How did he do this?
