ChrisTFer steps down from Team U.K. to pursue coaching career

Alright everyone, in the words of Samuel L Jackson, “Hold onto your butts”. Christopher “ChrisTFer” Graham has announced that he will no longer be playing the game of Overwatch. Instead, he announced via his Twitter, that he will pursuing a role as a full-time coach in the Overwatch League.

Decided to step down from to persue coaching full time, hope to learn a lot working under OWL level coaches.

That being said I am LFT for OWL/academy as a coach, feel free to reach out to me on discord if you need to know more about my experience or motivation.

I should clarify I have no intention of playing again and will commit everything to become the best coach.

Graham was originally the main tank on Team U.K.’s roster for the 2018 Overwatch World Cup, so his timing is a little unorthodox. Especially since the team is headed to BlizzCon for the finals. However, Elliot “Hayez” Hayes, head coach of Team U.K., has already come out in notifying the public that this is a non issue. Hayes stated in a tweet shortly following Graham’s announcement, that Cameron “Fusions” Bosworth will be stepping in to fill the role.

Announcement. We will be bringing in as Main Tank for blizzcon. has decided he would like to transition into a coaching role, coaching at blizzcon will be valuable experience while also being a good chance to prove himself as a coach.

Just as Hayes mentioned on Twitter, we too wish Graham the best of luck in his future endeavors. We look forward to seeing what he has in store for his new coaching career.
